KOMET LEGEND COLIN LISTER PASSES

Fort Wayne, IN | Monday, January 3, 2011 --
Former Komet business manager and owner Colin Lister passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2010 at Heritage Park Health Care Center in Fort Wayne.

Lister was a member of the Komet's Comcast Hall of Fame in honor of his service to the Fort Wayne hockey club from 1958 to 1985.

Lister mastered the art of managing the Komet's business affairs and became a very familiar face to Komet fans in the Coliseum ticket office.  Lister later became a stockholder in the Komet Hockey Club and in the early 80's, after capturing three IHL Turner Cup Championships, became majority owner until he sold the team in 1985.

Through his 26-year Komet career, Lister was directly involved in every aspect of Komet hockey management and it's representation in the community.
