Fort Wayne, IN — The Komets announced Wednesday that Matt Syroczynski has been called up by the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.  The left winger has appeared in three AHL games (0 goals, 1 assist) during his career including a game last season with Milwaukee.

Syroczynski leads the Komets after the first four games of the season with four goals and six points and is expected to miss at least the two Komet games scheduled this weekend.

Lumberjacks visit Saturday for Halloween.....this week the Komets will skate at Bloomington Friday at 8:05pm Fort Wayne time before the Muskegon Lumberjacks make their first of six trips to Fort Wayne Saturday night for Halloween at 7:30.  5,000 Komet magnetic schedules will be given away to fans entering the building Saturday.  The popular annual giveaway is made possible by Fort Wayne area Applebees restaurants.  Also, all kids in their Halloween costume will get a Komet Halloween Treat Bag and can take part in the on-ice Halloween Costume parade during the first intermission.
