Komets Jersey Auction nets $25,675 for charity
Guy Dupuis' #2 jersey yields $1500 top bid

Fort Wayne, IN | Tuesday, May 18, 2010 ---  The Fort Wayne Komets held their 2010 IHL Turner Cup Champion party and annual End-of-Season Jersey Auction Tuesday night at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and raised a total of $25,675.00.  Jerseys and some specialty items auctioned combined for the total amount.

Komet veteran Guy Dupuis’ number 2 sweater snagged the most at $1,500.  P.C. Drouin’s number 71 netted the second highest at $1,450 and Colin Chaulk’s number 91 took in  a third-highest bid of $1,400.

21 Komet jerseys were auctioned for a total of $20,200.00.

Specialty items including a 2009-10 Komets scrapbook, five Broaster Boys Jerseys, a set of three Nick Boucher bobble-heads and a Chaulk-Syroczynski poster collected an additional $5,475 for a total amount raised of $25,675.

The net proceeds from the jersey auction will be distributed to charity.
