Fort Wayne, IN — The Komets announced Wednesday that defenseman Blair Stayzer has been placed on waivers.  Stayzer scored a goal and accumulated 34 penalty minutes in 13 games prior to going on the injured reserve list December 4.  Stayzer, 29, is in his 10th pro year and appeared in his 400th pro game Oct. 23 vs Bloomington.

The Komets will skate three games in three nights this weekend starting with a home double-header weekend.  Friday the Bloomington PrairieThunder visit for an 8pm faceoff.  Saturday the Komets will host the Muskegon Lumberjacks at 7:30pm.  Sunday the Komets travel to Dayton to face the Gems at Hara Arena at 5pm.

All three Komet games this weekend are scheduled to air on WOWO Radio AM 1190 and webcast at www.komets.com at Comcast KometCast.
