Fort Wayne, IN — The Komets visited Flint Thursday night and clipped the Generals 4-3 to move into a first-place tie with Muskegon and extend their win string to three games.

Komet newcomer Leo Thomas extended his personal point-streak to four games (3 goals, 3 assists) scoring a pair of goals including the game-winner and adding an assist for a three-point evening.  Winger P.C. Drouin lengthened his league-leading point streak to seven games (4 goals, 7 assists) with a goal and an assist and has an assist streak of four games (6 assists).  Right wing Dominic Osman also hit the net Thursday night for his 11th tally of the season.  Last week's IHL Goaltender of the Week Tim Haun registered his second consecutive win stopping 25 of 28 Flint shots.

The Komets' victory at Flint set up a battle for first-place tonight when the Komets visit L.C. Walker Arena for a 7pm faceoff against the Lumberjacks.  The Komets will complete a week of four games in five nights Saturday night when they return home to host the Port Huron Icehawks at 7:30.
