Komets To Play This Weekend Without Osman
Forward Ryan Potts to fill void

Fort Wayne, IN — The Komets announced today that winger
Dominic Osman will not see action this weekend due to an injury
sustained in a game last weekend. Forward Ryan Potts will
be added to the Komets' roster to fill the void.
Osman leads the Komets with five goals and seven points after
the season opening games last weekend and was named the IHL
Player of the Week for the first week of 2008-09.
Potts, 26, is the grandson of Komet legend Reggie Primeau and
participated in the Komets' 2008 training camp. Potts
appeared in two preseason game with the Komets (0 pts, 2 pim).
The Komets will skate two road games this weekend. Tonight
the Komets face the PrairieThunder at Bloomington at 8:05 (Fort
Wayne time). Tomorrow the Komets travel to Kalamazoo for a
7:30pm home opening faceoff at Wings Stadium.
Tonight's game on WOWO 1190, Saturday's game on ESPN
1380.....tonight's game at Bloomington is schedule to
air on WOWO Radio AM 1190 with Bob Chase calling the
play-by-play. Saturday's game at Kalamazoo has been
scheduled to air on WKJG/ESPN Radio AM 1380. Both games
will be webcast free on the internet at

Next Komet home game on Halloween night.....the
Komets will return to coliseum ice Halloween night, Friday, Oct.
31, to host the Kalamazoo Wings at 8pm. Not only will
there be a parade of little ghosts and goblins during the first
intermission, but also a free public skate, courtesy of Wendy's,
immediately following the game.
