Fort Wayne, IN — The 2009 IHL Turner Cup Champion Fort Wayne Komets held their annual End-of-Season Party and Jersey Auction Tuesday night at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and raised a total of $32,200.  Jerseys and some special items auctioned combined for the total amount.

P.C. Drouin's number 71 snagged the most at $2,100.  It was a three-way tie for second most collected as Guy Dupuis' number 2, Brad MacMillan's number 15 and Konstantin Shafranov's number 24 each took in $2,000 bids. 

Twenty-three Komet jerseys were auctioned for a total of $27,200.

A team autographed bowling ball, a Komet scrapbook on the championship season and mounted broken plexi-glass, broken by a Mathieu Curadeau hit Nov. 21 vs Port Huron at the coliseum, all combined for $5,000 in bids.

The net proceeds from the jersey auction will be distributed to charity.
