Fort Wayne, IN — The Komets are on the road today to skate a rescheduled game at Bloomington tonight at 8:05 Fort Wayne time.  Tonight's game can be heard on ESPN Radio AM 1380 and will be webcast free at www.komets.com Comcast KometCast with Bob Chase calling the play-by-play radio rinkside.

Tonight's game was originally scheduled for Feb. 14 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington but was moved to tonight to make room for a concert.

Icehawks here for pair Friday and Saturday.....This weekend the Komets will host Port Huron in back-to-back games Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 7:30pm.  The Komets are 0-3-0 so far this season when the Icehawks visit, but are 5-1-0 when playing at McMorran arena and lead the season series 5-4-0 overall.  Port Huron boasts the IHL's best road record at 14-5-1-1 and is unbeaten on the road in 11 straight games.  The Icehawks clipped the visiting Muskegon Lumberjacks last night 2-1.

Pence, Laplante return to lineup.....The Komets announced today that defenseman Jake Pence and goalie Sebastien Laplante have been activated from the injured reserve list and are expected to be in the lineup when the Komets play at Bloomington at 8:05.  To make room for Pence and Laplante, the Komets have waived skater Ryan Potts and netminder Tim Haun.  Also, the Komets have moved forward Colin Chaulk from 30-day I.R. to 45-day I.R.

The Fort Wayne roster shrinks to 23 players including 13 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders.
