Komets home for pair this weekend
Henley returns to lineup Friday at Port Huron
Kukulka placed on waivers

Fort Wayne, IN --- The Komets announced Thursday that defenseman Brent Henley is expected to be in the lineup when the Komets skate at Port Huron Friday night. Henley, 27, will be appearing for the first time this season after recovering from injury. Last season the 6-foot, 7-inch defenseman appeared in 36 games with Fort Wayne scoring 3 assists while accumulating 174 penalty minutes.

The Komets also announced Thursday that forward Bobby Kukulka has been placed on waivers. Kukulka registered 4 goals and 7 points in 12 games this season with Fort Wayne.

After Friday night's game at Port Huron, the Komets will host a pair of home games this weekend. Saturday the Komets will face the Muskegon Fury at the Coliseum at 7:30pm. Sunday at 5pm the Bloomington PrairieThunder visit the Komets in the third of 8 meetings this season at the Coliseum.

All 3 Komet games this weekend will be broadcast on Fort Wayne radio and webcast free at www.komets.com Comcast KometCast with Bob Chase calling the play-by-play. Friday's game at Port Huron and Saturday's home match against Muskegon is slated to air on WOWO AM Radio 1190. Sunday's home tilt against Bloomington will air on WKJG/ESPN Radio AM 1380.
