Fort Wayne, IN --- The Komets announced Tuesday that left winger P.C. Drouin has agreed to terms and has been added to the Komet roster.

Drouin, 33, previously skated 2 seasons with the Komets, 2004-05 and 2005-06, scoring identical records of 24 goals and 50 assists for 74 points each season. Drouin represented the Komets in the 2005 UHL All-Star game and led the Komets in the 2005 playoffs with 8 goals and 19 points. "Anytime you can add a player of P.C.'s ability to your team you have to do it," claimed Komet general manager David Franke. "P.C. is a very skilled player who will add to our overall offense and our power play. He is sound defensively and will easily mix in with our already talented team. We hope to get P.C. in the lineup this weekend."

Last season Drouin appeared in 26 games as a member of Morzine in the French league scoring 20 goals and 37 points. Drouin started this season playing 20 games in England with the Nottingham Panters (EIHL) registering 6 goals and 17 points before returning to Fort Wayne.

Drouin started his career in 1996 when he was signed as a free agent by the Boston Bruins. He skated 3 games with the Bruins and 42 games with Providence (AHL) during 1996-97.

Komet's Thanksgiving tradition continues.....Thursday night the Komets will host Port Huron in the traditional Fort Wayne Thanksgiving game at 7:30. Friday the Komets will skate at Flint against the first-place rival Generals at 7:30pm. Saturday the Komets return home to host the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:30pm. Thursday's Thanksgiving game will be aired on WKJG/ESPN Radio AM 1380. Friday and Saturday's games will be broadcast on WOWO Radio AM 1190.
