IHL DISPERSAL DRAFT YIELDS 14 PICKS FOR KOMETS

Fort Wayne, IN --- The new International Hockey League held it's first ever dispersal draft Wednesday via a telephone conference call among all 6 member teams. Each team was given one pick per round from a list of players from the 2006-07 final rosters of the Chicago Hounds, Elmira Jackals, Quad City Mallards and Rockford IceHogs. Those 4 teams will not participate in the 2007-08 IHL season.

The selection order was determined by teams' winning percentage in the final standings of the 2006-07 United Hockey League season, with the lowest-ranking teams choosing first.

The Komets, choosing 6th in each round of the draft, elected to choose the following players:
