Hodgman, 19, has completed three seasons of major junior hockey with the Erie
Otters of the Ontario Hockey League. During 2007-08 the skater led the Otters
with 37 goals, 43 assists and 80 points in 64 games.
Generals visit Saturday......Saturday the Komets will tangle with the
Flint Generals at the Memorial Coliseum at 7:30pm. Flint plays host to the
Kalamazoo Wings Friday night before traveling to Fort Wayne Saturday. The Komets
have a chance to tie the IHL record of 22 consecutive wins at home, set during
the 1965-66 season by the Muskegon Mohawks. The Komets have clinched the IHL
regular season championship with 11 games remaining in 2007-08 including five at
home.
Saturday night is the first ever Design-A-Jersey and Fine Arts Night
presented by Arts United, Technology specialists and the Komets. The Komets will
wear special jerseys designed by contest winner Jeff Stumpp. The one-of-kind
jerseys will be auctioned off with proceeds going to benefit Arts United. Bids
