Fort Wayne, IN -- The Komets announced Monday that the Fort Wayne preseason roster has been trimmed by five players.
The following players have been released:
Linus Werneman (F)
Nicolas Thommen (D)
Gerry Festa (G)
Francois Lacerte (G)
Larking Saalfrank (G)
The Fort Wayne preseason roster includes 11 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders. A copy of the revised preseason roster is attached.
Home opener Friday, Oct. 12 vs the Wings-- The Komets will rekindle their old rivalry against the Kalamazoo Wings when the 61st season of Komet hockey opens this Friday, Oct. 12 at 8pm at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Pre-game ceremonies get underway at 7:45pm and include a presentation of the 2012 Presidents’ Cup rings and the annual introductions of Komet Legends. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the festivities.
Tickets on sale-- Single game tickets and season tickets are now on sale. Single game tickets can be purchased at the Coliseum Ticket Office and online at www.ticketMaster.com.
