Fort Wayne, IN ---The Komets will be on the road this weekend for
a pair of games starting at Toledo Friday night at 7:05.
Friday night’s game will be the first Komet game at Toledo since Dec. 27, 1985 when the Komets
clipped the Goaldiggers 8-7 in a shootout in an IHL game at the old Toledo
Sports Arena. Friday’s game will be held
at the Huntington Center (7,431) in downtown Toledo and is the first of four visits by the
Komets this season. The Walleye will
skate at Wheeling
Thursday night before hosting the Komets Friday.
Saturday the Komets will
cap the weekend with a 3pm matinee game at Kalamazoo Wings Stadium. Kalamazoo lost
3-2 at Cincinnati
Tuesday night to snap a four-game win string and will host the Cyclones Friday
before facing the Komets Saturday afternoon.
Next week the Komets will travel to Toledo
for a 10:35am faceoff Wednesday, Nov. 7 before returning home to host the
Evansville IceMen Friday Nov. 9 at 8pm.
Radio broadcast change—The Komets game at Toledo this Friday night will be broadcast as
originally scheduled on WOWO AM 1190 and FM 92.3. However, due to scheduling conflicts,
Saturday’s game at Kalamazoo will air on WFGA FM
106.7 and next Wednesday’s 10:35am game at Toledo will be broadcast on WKJG AM 1380 and
WFGA FM 106.7. All Komet games broadcast
on radio are also webcast at Xfinity KometCast at www.komets.com.
