CHL/IHL 2011 Playoffs Format
16 of the league's 18 teams will qualify.
The top eight teams from each conference will qualify and be ranked within their
conference,
one through eight,
#1 vs #8
#2 vs #7
#3 vs #6
#4 vs #5.
The brackets will remain consistent throughout the playoffs with no re-seeding.
The first two rounds will be best-of-five series.
The conference finals and the league finals will be best-of-seven series.
Home ice in the finals will be determined by regular season points.
